CONSULTANT SELECTION
Consultant Selected!
The Laconia Airport Authority at Laconia Municipal Airport (KLCI) in adherence to FAA requirements has completed its selection of a consultant firm.  We received proposals from four consulting firms, all of which were well qualified, and after reviewing the proposals, we have selected Jacobs Engineering to act as our consultant for the next three to five years.  Jacobs has been our consulting engineering firm for the past five years and has served us very well. We look forward to continuing to work with Jacobs as we continue to strive to keep LCI a safe and attractive airport for stakeholders and visitors.
CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED!
AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Taxiway E (Echo) has been extended from the itinerant parking lot to the north end of the airport!
The pavement on the abandoned runway is in rough shape, making the trip to the north end of the field an unpleasant excursion for aircraft. Also, several of the catch basins for drainage along the sides had collapsed, creating a safety concern. This project has also created more available spaces for aircraft parking, as well as further hangar development.
Construction on the project began June 10, 2019, and was completed at the end of October.
Come by and check it out!
